Elvis Presley
New York's Number One Elvis Tribute Artist for over 30 years, Gene DiNapoli

Bio & Details

I F B. B. Kings In New York City and Yonkers Empire City Casino.

Hire Gene , why shouldn’t you? Gene’s most recent additions to his body of work include:
Appearing on America’s Most Badass TV show on the American Heroes Channel as the Elvis Expert. Being cast as Elvis in the band Silverbird’s Music video called “Running” which will be aired on MTV and VH-1.

At the age of 6, as he was searching the TV for a New York Yankee game to watch Gene stumbled upon the Elvis movie, Girls, Girls, Girls, heard “Return To Sender” and never watched another baseball game, Instead, he watched every Elvis movie ever made. He first took the stage at the young age of 14 and soon realized it was there he wanted to be for all his life.

Gene started his career doing shows in hospitals and nursing homes to get experience in singing. Soon after he performed his first full fledged Elvis show with an 11 piece band and stole the show. His voice matured early on so he could sing songs like “My Way” as easy as “Heartbreak Hotel” which made him a rarity in the business.

One of Gene’s favorite moments was singing “Burning Love” at Queens College with D.J. Fontana and the Jordinaires, both who worked with Elvis but never performed that song.  The performance was explosive to the delight of the crowd.

Gene then appeared as Elvis in a World Wrestling Federation (WWF) commercial and was featured on the cover of the same magazine soon after.

Not staying in true Elvis mode (as Gene likes to be himself in his shows) he normally doesn’t enter contests but when he does, he fairs very well such as coming in 3rd in Jamestown, NY Elvis-fest, 1st place in a New York competition in 1998 and then as a finalist in Las Vegas in 1999 before winning first place at the Michigan Elvis Showdown in 2001.

Even the Las Vegas Sun newspaper thought so much of Gene’s performance; they featured a full page color picture of him alone on the cover the following day when he placed 6th in the country that year.

Gene is a featured performer in the New Jersey Mega Elvis event every year delighting crowds in the hundreds with his showmanship, vocals and personality.

He has been in numerous magazines featured as Elvis in ads but most fun and exciting was being in the October 2005 issue of Fortune Magazine with the new CEO of Elvis Presley Enterprises, Robert Sillerman .

In August of 2007, The New York Post had Gene on its front page as one of the top Elvis acts in New York.
On Jan. 8th, 2010 Gene was the only impersonator featured in the New York Daily News all over the United States.

Gene now performs just about 150 shows a year including private parties, dinner dances, numerous nightclubs and restaurants, as he has an extensive following.

Patty Parry of Elvis inner circle said about Gene, ”I knew that when Gene hit the stage the place would erupt, he’s so full of life”. She then jumped on stage with Gene to dance to “Burning Love:.

Charles Parks, Guitar player for hundreds of Elvis artists said,” There’s no one id rather work with on stage than Gene”.

He is very involved with charities such as the American Cancer Society as well as The Fountain House in NYC

Gene has been the Elvis act at the Yonkers Empire City Casino for over 4 years and now also does the Resorts World Casino in Queens, NY.

In the past years Gene has been hired out of many over the internet to perform for Vanessa Williams and Bette Midler at private functions and he has even done a show with television star Jim Belushi.

Celebrating his 37th  year singing in 2017, he hopes and prays to go on for a long time and so do his fans.

Available to play:
