If you need any proof of the popularity of tribute shows, just look at the sold-out Brit Floyd concert at Rose Music Center in Huber Heights on May 11. That performance of Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” is just one of more than two dozen concerts focused on the music of the Beatles, Prince, Led Zeppelin, Bruno Mars and other popular acts at area venues such as Fraze Pavilion in Kettering, JD Legends in Franklin and Veteran’s Park in Springfield.

June 13: Hollywood Nights: A Bob Seger Tribute Experience at Fraze Pavilion, Kettering. 7:30 p.m. $15 general admission in advance. $20 day of show.
June 27: Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles at Fraze Pavilion, Kettering. 8:30 p.m. $29 lawn & terrace in advance, $49 orchestra and $59 plaza. All ticket prices increase $5 day of show.
June 28: Absolute Journey: Springfield Arts Council’s Summer Arts Festival presents the tribute show at Turner Pavilion, Veteran’s Park, Springfield. 8 p.m.
